LPN or RN- Primary to Physician

JOB TITLE: CMA, LPN, or RNPrimary to Physician/A.P.P. Group

DEPARTMENT: Clinic Services

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

A nonexempt position that provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices and works closely with physician to ensure quality care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Prepares equipment and aids Physician/A.P.P. during examination, treatment and testing of patients.
• Observes, records and reports patient's condition and reaction to treatments, drug testing to providers.
• Maintains and reviews patient records, charts and other pertinent information.
• Documents test results, phone calls, & patient education in accordance with nursing and organization standards.
• Orders medications as prescribed by provider.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.

PAY RANGE: $23-$45 (dependent upon experience and education)

Education:Minimum: Graduate of an accredited CMA, LPN or RN program.

Certificate/License: Possession of current CMA, Alaska State LPN or Registered Nurse license, and current CPR certification. Current ACLS certification preferred.
