GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
- Facilitates the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician's office
- Assist physician and care team with routine office exams including obtaining patient medical histories and documenting in EHR system (E-Clinical Works preferred)
- Assists physician and care team with in office procedures.
- Coordinates scheduling of patients for surgical procedures in outpatient settings
- Adheres to organizational policy and procedures when documenting information in patient's medical record.
- Recognizes and responds to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Identifies patient and family education needs and provides instruction.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing
- Hold an active state license.
- Experience with EMR systems (E-Clinical Works experience desired).
- One year experience in a health care facility preferred.
- CPR Certification
- Bilingual-English & Spanish speaking and writing
