Job Description:
Responsible and accountable for performing direct and indirect patient care according to standards set for quality and compassionate patient care and those duties approved by the Louisiana State Board of Practical Nursing Examiners. Responsible for charting all pertinent information concisely on patient records in a timely and legible manner. Appropriately and professionally communicates between staff members, management, and physicians. The LPN functions as an integral part of the nursing team. All tasks must be performed in compliance with established policies and procedures of Allen Parish Community Healthcare and supervised by the Registered Nurse and/or the Nurse Manager, and/or the CNO.
Shift Differentials = $2.00 nights; extra $2.00 nights weekend
Licensure:
Current licensure as a LPN in the State of Louisiana or compacted state.
BLS/CPR certification is required
CPI/MOAB certification is required
ACLS certification is required
