LPN Medication Administrator – Per Diem in Residential Setting - $30.00 per hour!

Summary:

Provide medical care and medication administration to adults with disabilities in Union, NJ. An LPN Medication Administrator provides caring, hands-on assistance regarding client medical needs and administers medication that can only be given by an LPN or RN. Medication administration includes transcribing and verifying, dispensing and delivering, administering, monitoring, and reporting. Training is provided. This role is Per Diem and based on the needs of the clients. Sign up for evening and weekend schedules.

Job Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN), Nursing Diploma, Certificate OR HS diploma with Accredited Practical Nursing Certificate (LPN)
• Minimum age, 18 years
• Driver’s license with no more than two moving violations w/in three years
• Criminal background check and drug screening
• Physical including tuberculosis screening
• Mandatory orientation and professional skills training at agency headquarters in Somerset, NJ
• Ability to Pass and maintain required trainings including CPR/SFA; medication administration, and positive behavioral support training
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to provide mobility support and physical transfers
• Comfort with hands on hygiene support/total care of people with physical support needs
• Strong interpersonal communication, problem solving, and writing skills
• Willingness to meet NJ Executive Order 252, which requires employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including a booster; at minimum one dose is required to begin employment with the expectation to complete subsequent doses as per recommended time frames; this requirement may be waived only in exceptional circumstances as outlined in the law.
