LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Long Term Care

Location: Niagara Falls, NY

Shift Pattern: 40hours/week (5x8s) Days/Evenings

Salary: $40/hour, $1600/week

Required: (AHA) BLS - 1 Year LPN Experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and administer medications to residents in a long term care setting
• Monitor and assess residents' health status, including vital signs, symptoms, and overall well-being
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid LPN license in the state of New York
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in long term care or a similar healthcare setting
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• BLS certification

Job Type: Contract
