Cura of Monticello is looking for Lpns
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
- Conduct patient assessments and triage patients based on their condition
- Assist with tube feeding and other specialized procedures as needed
- Perform laboratory tests and phlebotomy to collect samples for analysis
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth to document patient information accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in the state of [Location]
- Experience in pediatrics and acute care settings preferred
- Proficient in medication administration and knowledgeable about common medications
- Ability to phlebotomize and perform basic laboratory tests
- Familiarity with tube feeding techniques and equipment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
