Job Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):
- Administer nursing care in a nursing home environment, and ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
- Document care provided and report changes in resident status to shift supervisor
- Interpret lung and Heart Sounds
- Care of patients with CVA or Head Injuries, Dementia, Oxygen, Pacemaker, Foleys, or Peg Tube
- Delivers compassionate nursing care while achieving resident/family satisfaction and positive clinical outcomes.
- Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
- Aid physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed.
Requirements:
- Must possess an active Commonwealth of Virginia Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Experience in a Nursing role- LPN to RN acceptable
- Eligible to work in the United States
- CPR certification
- Minimum of Associates Degree in Nursing
- Comfortable working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of an organization
- Ability to work at least 1 shift on average per week
- Ability to travel up to 50 +/- miles daily to different locations with your own transportation
