Job Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):

• Administer nursing care in a nursing home environment, and ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
• Document care provided and report changes in resident status to shift supervisor
• Interpret lung and Heart Sounds
• Care of patients with CVA or Head Injuries, Dementia, Oxygen, Pacemaker, Foleys, or Peg Tube
• Delivers compassionate nursing care while achieving resident/family satisfaction and positive clinical outcomes.
• Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Aid physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed.

Requirements:

• Must possess an active Commonwealth of Virginia Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Experience in a Nursing role- LPN to RN acceptable
• Eligible to work in the United States
• CPR certification
• Minimum of Associates Degree in Nursing
• Comfortable working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of an organization
• Ability to work at least 1 shift on average per week
• Ability to travel up to 50 +/- miles daily to different locations with your own transportation
