Job Description

Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is currently hiring for PRN & Full TimeLPN positions inHome Healthfor Westminster-Canterbury At Home.

PRN:Employees do not have a set schedule and will be called in to work on an "as needed" basis. Currently seeking individuals who are available for 5-10 visits per week.

Full Time: Schedule varies.

Westminster-Canterbury At Home offers personalized and exceptional Home Health Care, Home Care, and Hospice services in private home settings in Virginia Beach and surrounding areas.

What will I do?

Our LPN Home Health Nurse assists the Registered Nurse Case Manager in carrying out the plan of care by providing skilled nursing care services. Also, the Home Health Nurse provides nursing care in the apartment setting to promote maximum health and independence for residents.

What do I need for this role?

• Current license as an LPN in the State of VA.
• One (1) year of nursing experience, preferably in Hospice, Home Health, or a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Must be able to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and relief of an obstructed airway.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Current valid Virginia driver's license required, and a satisfactory motor vehicle driving record.
• Proof of motor vehicle insurance.
• Willing to drive to private homes in greater Virginia Beach area to perform the requirements associated with this position.
• WOCN preferred.
• Physically able to perform all aspects of this job.
