Job Description
Our Client is seeking Nurses (LPNs) to provide service in group home settings and Long Term Care settings in the Guilford and Cromwell areas.
We have schedules for:
* Ongoing
* Per Diem
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Complete routine health assessments of clients; provide individual health education to clients as needed.
* Ensure and oversee the proper ordering and checking in of medications in each program.
* Oversee and ensure compliance with the Medication Administration Program (MAP) procedures and regulations.
* Administer medications to clients as needed.
* Communicate with staff and providers regarding health concerns of clients
* Complete necessary documentation for client records as needed (e.g. nursing notes, ITP notes, etc.)
* Continue to maintain and develop own professional competency.
* Review and update medical policies and procedures as needed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Current CT LPN license
* Current CPR
* Ability to pass background checks including state and federal fingerprinting, state child abuse registry check
