Job description

Under the direction and supervision of the Associate Division Director of Adult Mental Health, coordinates services for justice involved individuals. Position is located at the McLennan County District Attorney's office and works closely with multiple stakeholders such as District Attorney's office staff, judges, probation, as well as other community stakeholders to facilitate referrals and services to individuals with mental illness with current judicial system involvement. Serves as liaison between local stakeholders and HOTRMHMR to ensure the needs of offenders with mental illness returning to the community are met.

Reports, presentations and data must be provided as requested by interested parties such as McLennan County, HOTRMHMR or DA. Completes all required documentation including progress notes, as well as other reports as requested by management group or agency staff. Will work closely with agency staff as well as community leaders in the Jail Diversion Sub Committee.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent written communication and computer keyboarding for inputting clinical documentation Excellent verbal communication with consumers, staff, and community providers Time management required to meet service goals Rehabilitation/Skills Training Treatment planning experience Local travel 50% of the time Lift up to 30 lbs. Stooping, bending, sitting, standing, and keyboarding for prolonged periods Ability to be CPR and PMAB certified Valid driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation required Education and Experience Full licensure as LCSW, LPC, LMFT Preferred Master's in social work, psychology or related field from an accredited school and a LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD, or PSYD.
