Job Description
We’re hiring several Low Voltage Technicians in the Pittsburgh area with a provider and complete integrator of modern building, safety, communication, security, and infotainment technology. Annual pay for this direct hire position is $45k - $75k based on experience.
Low Voltage TechnicianRole & Requirements:
- Candidate will be responsible for installation of various Low Voltage systems, ensuring efficient & reliable functionality.
- Install, terminate & test Low Voltage cables & fiber optic cables.
- Route cable through conduit, above ceilings & between floors according to job specifications.
- Provide or relocate cable and modular connections.
- Assist in the installation of communications hardware.
- Complete projects within budget, on time & in a safe manner.
- Generate daily time sheets, highlighting work completed, challenges & action steps for completion of project.
Low Voltage Technician Work Environment & Job Duties:
- Variable noise levels depending on work site & required tools.
- Possible exposure to airborne particles & dirt in the outdoor or construction environments.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be comfortable standing, walking, & reaching with hands & arms for up to 8 hours a day.
- Must be comfortable climbing, balancing, stooping crouching and/or crawling in various environments (basements, crawl spaces, attics, ceilings, etc.).
