about the position…
The Low Voltage Foreman is a critical role at Power Design that ensures that we maintain a high level of quality, safety and customer satisfaction with the installation of Low Voltage systems. This role is an integral part of the project team and is assigned to a project throughout multiple phases of construction and through TCO.
position details/responsibilities…
- Working closely with project superintendent, project manager and other trades, oversee the assigned scope, including the management of material and manpower.
- Work with installation team to ensure that all safety, quality and code requirements are met.
- Utilize technology such as company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure the job gets done on time, adheres to the blueprints and specifications, and exceeds customer expectations.
- Supervise, mentor and motivate employees working on designated scope.
- Coordinate code requirements with local inspectors and coordinate with systems programming and configuration through project completion.
here’s what we’re looking for…
- Progressive electrical leader with a drive for results who loves using technology and wants a clear career path.
- Skilled field supervisor with at least three (3) years of experience managing related systems installations (5+ years preferred).
- BICSI RCDD Installer certification preferred, Access Control and CCTV Manufacturer certifications (Kantech, Software House, ExacQ) preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes and construction safety requirements.
