Lounge Venue Host - Models are responsible for greeting customers as they enter the lounge, booking reservations, adding customers to a waiting list, providing menus, and directing them to their seats. Additionally, they might answer calls from customers with questions regarding the lounge and its menu and help other lounge personnel as needed. Forge relationships with the VIP guests so that they have an unforgettable experience in the Smoke and Mirrors lounge.

Generally:

• Welcome customers as they arrive and add them to a waiting list as needed.
• Distribute menus to customers and respond to any inquiries.
• Setting up comfortable waiting spaces in the lobby for visitors.
• Choosing the tables that guests would want to sit at while bearing in mind table rotation to ensure that servers have the appropriate quantity of customers.
• Interact with customers to make sure they are content with the products and service.
• Addressing grievances and assisting in their resolution.
• Processing reservations, taking calls, and providing information regarding the lounge.
• Assisting the security team in preventing underage entry, denying entry to intoxicated customers, and verifying identification.
• Follow all procedures and delegated tasks handed down from the General Manager, Assistant Manager, and Operations Supervisor.
• Examine identification credentials to confirm the customer’s age per age verification SOPs as needed.
• Maintain the lounge's cleanliness and organization at all times.
• Foresee the needs of the guests; acting swiftly and accurately to satisfy them.
• Keep designated locations, stations, tables, and POS terminals clean and stocked with the necessary items.
• Provide customers with water, even without them requesting it, at no charge.
• Uphold a standard of professionalism that will encourage visitors to visit Smoke And Mirrors again.
• Have effective communication with management, chefs, culinary team, cannabis sales team, inventory team, security team, and cannabis hospitality team to effectively discuss and satisfy any requests made by customers or coworkers.
• Adhere to all guidelines and regulations established by the company, management, local and state government, and health departments.
• Make customers feel welcome by giving them a nice, kind greeting.
• Walk customers through every stage of their lounge experience.
• Inform customers or current promotions.
• Inform all customers of the rules specific to the lounge.
• Demonstrate appropriate knowledge, sales skills, and service of each menu item.
• Consistently adhere to the order of service and use all appropriate, standardized room management practices.
• Using the guest's name when it is known when saying goodbye and requesting that they visit Smoke And Mirrors again.
• Enforce table time or customer time limits.
• Prevent cannabis overconsumption by limiting guest consumption, monitoring and understanding guest intoxication levels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
