Louisiana - Interim Emergency Director (Rn)- $82.80 /Hr **13 Week**

Job Summary: Responsible for direction of patient care activities in the Emergency Department. Manages staff in the Emergency Department including ER Registration, provides management of operational and nursing activities. Consults with staff, physicians and the Nurse Executive on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met.We are a 49 bed acute care facility located at 600 South Pine Street in DeRidder, Louisiana.

Our Emergency Department averages 1,500 - 2,000 patients per month and 13 beds (8 rooms, 5 trauma bay beds).-Current RN License- BSN Preferred (or an education plan to obtain one)- Knowledge of TJC regulations- Knowledge of Cost Management- Demonstrated Leadership Skills-Strong organizational and communication skills- Exceptional interpersonal skills-Ability to work with others (other departments, staff physicians, patients, & family members)- 5 yrs. ER experience preferred- 2 yrs. supervisory experience preferred
