Responsibilities:

• Understand and manage the Permit To Work (PTW) system on site.
• Ensure the system is understood and followed by all participants.
• Understand and manage the Lock-Out/ Tag-Out (LOTO) system on site.
• Ensure the system is understood and followed by all participants.
• Train and support the project team in PTW, LOTO, and other related documents. Conduct training presentations using MS PowerPoint.
• Provide and maintain a spreadsheet of daily permits that are Live, Suspended, and newly Proposed.
• Receive and review submitted Work Permits. Ensure all documentation is complete, including required attachments such as isolation certificates and JSAs.
• Receive and review submitted LOTO Isolation Certificates.
• Ensure all documentation is complete.
• Obtain the necessary signatures to enable live work permits at the beginning of shift each day and suspend the same permits at the end of shift each day.
• Manage, distribute, collect and track all related LOTO equipment to be used on-site, including locks, tags, hasps, lockboxes, and specialty lockout devices such as chains, valve covers, breaker panel devices, etc.
• Support the Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) Coordinator in his daily role.
• The SIMOPS Coordinator analyzes the upcoming work on-site for the next two days and makes recommendations on which activities may conflict.
• The work permits are critical to understanding site SIMOPS relationships.
• Provide and issue daily permit summary reports at daily SIMOPS meetings for key stakeholders.
