PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Lot Attendant is individual contributor role that is crucial in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the dealership's vehicle lot, ensuring a positive experience for both customers and staff. This position involves various responsibilities related to the management of the vehicle inventory and lot appearance.
JOB DUTIES:
Operations
- Moving vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility.
- Maintaining an orderly parking area, lot and vehicle display, car preparation, shop and showroom appearance.
- Wash lot vehicles as needed.
- Clean interior and exterior windows.
- Vacuum and scrub the interior of lot vehicles as needed.
- Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
- Fill empty holes on the lot to keep lot looking full.
- Pick up trash throughout the lot.
- Make sure the vehicles have plate frames and dealer stickers on the back.
- Ensure proper lot maintenance (e.g. pulling weeds, shoveling and salting the lot) to keep the lot presentable and safe for customers.
- Checks in new vehicle deliveries from the manufacturer.
- Ensures all vehicle addendum stickers are on vehicles.
General
- Ensure prompt and regular attendance.
- Perform other appropriate duties as may be assigned by Management.
- Travel as business needs may require.

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is minimally required.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of automotive models and features
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to drive and operate both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
- Must possess and continuously maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
