Loss Prevention Associate

Position: Loss Prevention Specialist

Summary: The Loss Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and security. They work to minimize loss to the company by identifying incidents of theft and fraud and reviewing the CCTV. The Loss Prevention Specialist monitors the store's physical security and drives a shrink elimination culture in the store.

Job Duties:

• Identify and address potential security risks
• Conduct investigations into thefts, accidents and other incidents as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and investigations
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed
• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers and vendors
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft and vandalism
• Other duties as assigned

• Engage in safe work practices and encourage other to do the same
• use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including gloves, glasses, back belts and seat belts on forklifts
• This position will require morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week based on business needs.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for long periods of time

Experience

• 1 year asset or Loss Prevention at a retail location

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
