Goblin Team - Kitchen Job - Cook Position
To be successful at the Goblin as a cook, you should be a committed, communicative TEAM member with the willingness to be of service. It's a bonus if you are able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and follow all food safety regulations and procedures.
JOB OVERVIEW
Ability to keep up with the demand of business - by producing consistent plates in a timely manner, able to communicate with any other part of the TEAM to ensure the customers needs are met, to take directions and corrective actions from any member of the TEAM, need to show up on time, in dress code and with a positive attitude.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the best possible customer experience
- Continuously produce consistent dishes, with proper seasoning & presentation.
- Participate in all aspects of the kitchen process - prep, production, sanitation & equipment cleaning
- Continuously change containers, towels, aprons & utensils to maintain sanitation
- Maintain a positive attitude throughout the entire shift & to be conscientious of the needs of the moment
- Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
- Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed
- Taking out all trash & boxes. Cleaning out the cans and carts they sit in
- Sweeping and mopping the floors
- Removal of soiled linens at end of shift or end of day
- Folding & storing of clean linens
- Willingness to learn any other task or job that is requested of you - NOT MY JOB - is an unacceptable response to any request.

REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts
- Lift at least 30 pounds
- Willingness to comply with food safety procedures
