Ashley Hall is seeking a qualified candidate for a long-term substitute French teaching position with a start date in August 2024.
Long-Term Substitute Teacher's duties and responsibilities could include but are not limited to:
- Managing the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment
- Adapting teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student
- Covering regular Teacher's additional duties supervising students in and out of the classroom. Examples could include duties such as drop off, lunch, pick up, etc.
- For long-term substitutes: developing lesson plans and assignments consistent with the regular teacher's past lesson plans
Candidates will submit a letter of interest, a resume, and professional references attached to the online application. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree for all levels except Early School. Hires will be subject to providing a copy of transcripts. Hires will also be subject to criminal background checks, drug screening and a TB test.
