TITLE: Long-Term Substitute Elementary Math Specialist (Grant Funded)

SALARY RANGE: Based on Experience
JOB SUMMARY: Provides graduated interventions for students who demonstrate a lack of academic progress and/or have gaps in mathematics knowledge. The position will also support teachers, staff and administration with guidance related mathematics interventions, data collection and analysis, technology integration to support mathematics interventions and instruction, and possible modifications to district curriculum, instruction, assessment and professional development related to mathematics supports. This position is part of the Centennial Education Association.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Employees must have the ability to perform the following essential functions on a timely basis with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Implement the District's Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Program within and across the assigned buildings.
- Develop individualized plans for students that include measurable goals, interventions, and data collection.
- Collect student data from assessments, observations, and artifacts.
- Organize building-level Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) meetings with teachers, administrators, and parents.
- Provide instructional coaching to teachers in the implementation of interventions within the classroom.
- Maintain all Instructional Support Team records.
- Report individual student progress to the Principal.
- Coordinate data reports for multi-disciplinary team referrals with the Supervisor of Special Education.
- Provide small group interventions in math to students.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS: In addition to the foregoing essential job functions, the employee is required to perform the following additional duties, unless such a duty cannot be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

QUALIFICATIONS: To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. Qualifications may include one or more of the following:
- Pennsylvania Level II certification Elementary K-6, Special Education PK-12, Special Education PK-8, Grades PK-4, Grades 4-8 Mathematics;
- Evidence of improving student achievement in the classroom;
- Demonstrated practical knowledge of developmental learning, differentiated instruction, interventions, and instructional practices.
- Demonstrated skills in analyzing and using data for instructional decision-making;
- Demonstrated skills in communication and organization.
- Demonstrated success working with and through people in establishing goals, objectives and action plans consistent with the district's vision, mission, values and goals.

- Ability to travel to various school district's buildings
