Responsibilities of Long TermSubstitute Teacher:
- The Long TermSubstitute Teacher is responsible for planning and preparation, classroom environment, and instruction.
- Assess student growth through progress monitoring
- Compile and maintain necessary records
- Develop and implement daily classroom lesson plans
- Maintain effective communication with students, staff, parents, and administration for the purpose of collaboration and planning.
- Participate in professional growth activities
- Participate in building or program activities/committees and meetings
- Assume appropriate roles as adult model and educator.
- Communicate effectively and respect human diversity.
- Assume other duties and special projects as assigned.
