Job Duration: 13-week Renewable Contract

Shifts: Day Shift (07:00 - 19:00) OR Night Shift (19:00 - 07:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: $1,296-$1,512/week

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) with a background in Long-Term Care (LTC) to join our dedicated team on a renewable contract basis. As an RN in our LTC facility, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need of long-Term Care services.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for residents in the long-Term Care facility.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans based on residents' needs and goals.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor and document residents' vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents, promoting their overall well-being and dignity.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to residents and their families.
• Document accurate and thorough electronic medical records (EMRs) to maintain residents' health information and progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and facilitate comprehensive care plans.
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, residents, and their families.

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination as per facility guidelines (no exemptions).
• Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
