Long-Term Care (LTC) - CNA:
- Explore the Beautiful Finger Lakes region in Upstate NY!
- 2 hours from Niagara Falls!
- 13-week contract, possible extensions!
Position Details:
- 13-week Contract.
- Flexible Start Date (QUICK STARTS ARE POSSIBLE).
- 5 Days/Week (EOW - Fri & Sat Night).
- 8-hour shifts (30-minute lunch break).
- Must be willing to float between nearby facilities if needed.
Job Description:
- Resident's ADL needs are met as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures within a safe and comfortable environment; including hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence/catheter care, elimination/toileting needs, turning/positioning, skincare, etc.
- Resident's environment and safety are to be maintained as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures; including answering call lights and alarms promptly, provision of safety mats and low beds, restraint use under the direction of Nursing, maintaining cleanliness of unit, behavior and fall prevention, appropriate use of and monitoring for malfunctioning equipment, etc.
- The resident's nutritional needs will be met as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures, including meal delivery, tray preparation, adaptive equipment, feeding, nourishment, etc. The resident's preferences and choices shall be honored.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of CNA Experience (Long Term Care Experience preferred).
- Active CNA Certification.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- BLS (AHA) required.
Local Pay:
- $27 Hourly
- $40.50 OT
- $1,080 Based on working 40 hours
