Job Description
Tioga Medical Center Long Term Care is seeking LPN applicants with a passion for caring for residents and the community, who will provide exceptional patient care and are willing to work as a team with all staff. Looking for someone who can commit to working scheduled shifts (scheduled month to month) and can pick up or switch shifts throughout the month.
Position Type: Part-Time/PRN
Responsibilities:
Assess and provide effective and safe resident care to contribute to the resident's overall care plan. Prepares, administers and charts routine and emergency medication and treatment to contribute to the resident's overall care plan. Makes provisions for outside physician visits to ensure resident's physical needs are met. Completes clerical records and forms to ensure continuity and quality of resident care. Performs safety and infection control procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment for residents and staff. Follows OSHA bloodborne pathogens standards. Maintain adequate stock of supplies and equipment. Reports all accidents promptly, investigates causes of accidents, and takes necessary steps to correct unsafe conditions.
