Long Island based Outpatient Psychiatric Facility seeking a Psychiatri

We are actively looking to hire a talented Psychiatrist who is passionate about patient care and committed to clinical excellence.

We are a start up mental health outpatient center in Great Neck, Long Island, NY. Our mission is provide comprehensive mental wellness care to people with a variety of mood and mental health disorders.

We offer services including Medication Management, Talk Therapy, and Alternative Treatment options such as T.M.S and Spravato.

By utilizing tried and true methods of treatment to cutting edge alternatives to medications, we continue to help countless patients be able to take charge of their lives. 

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day job will include: evaluating, diagnosing, developing treatment plans, prescribing medication, monitoring medication, evaluating treatment plans, providing referrals for additional treatment needs, and providing therapy.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree, Board Certified or Board Eligible, BC or BE, Unencumbered DEA, State licensure
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Degree
• Doctor of Psychiatry
• Board certified or board elgible
• Strong clinical skills and judgment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Experience treating children and adults with a variety of mental healthcare needs

Skills:

Empathy, communications, active listening, problem solving, ethical, ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of patients
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options
• Participate in professional development activities
