Logistics Team Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Associate to join our team. As a Logistics Associate, you will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring smooth operations within our logistics department.

Duties:

-Manage a team to complete freight in a timely manner
- Stock and organize inventory in designated storage areas
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Package and prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
- Utilize a cash register to process sales transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and storage areas
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate logistics activities
- Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to inventory or shipments

Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using inventory management software systems
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accuracy in inventory records
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, as it may be necessary to communicate with diverse customers or suppliers
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of logistics processes and procedures is preferred

Please note that all positions at our company are paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
