Logistics Support Specialist

We have an IMMEDIATE need for a Logistics Coordinator! The chosen candidate will be responsible for coordinating the storage, transportation and delivery of goods as well as shipping equipment and filing claims with carriers and insurance companies.

Additional Responsibilities:

· Prepare international shipping documents

· Blind shipments from overseas vendors to overseas customers

· Control all imports, customs clearance, final delivery

· Prepare Letter of Credit Presentations

· Prepare cash against Docs Presentation

· Be able to properly assign HS Codes

· Contract Negotiation with all freight vendors and review/approve all freight invoices

· Obtain truck, air, & ocean rates

· Track and monitor shipments in transit

· Prepare Commercial Invoices, Packing list, COO, COC, SLI’s

· Troubleshoot issues with shipping software and anything that prevents something from shipping

· Obtain insurance certificates for customers EPI and COI’s

· Optimize transportation shipments for our clients while balancing service and cost

· Maintain relationships established with carriers to ensure capacity and monitor service standards

· Communicate effectively with clients, customers, carriers and teammates

· Process large batch shipments using WorldShip or Ship Manager
