Logistics Planner/Scheduler

We are hiring a Logistics Planner/Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate would be hardworking, a team player and customer oriented. Problem solving, communication, and attention to detail are critical to this role. Evenings/weekends may be required during busy summer season.

Responsibilities:

• Use real time data and predictive analytics to ensure the customer has satisfactory levels of nitrogen.
• Proactively communicate with customers regarding upcoming nitrogen usage.
• Oversee the administrative process of creating orders, updating delivery statuses, obtaining “Proof of Delivery” documentation, and reconciling supplier invoices with deliveries.
• Use historical consumption and planned consumption to make predictions on the level of product needed by customers.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with internal and third-party drivers, along with gas supplier schedulers.
• Monitor tank levels through application software, recording and predicting future planned usage.
• Communicate with regional NITROcrete managers regarding nitrogen delivery planning for their regions.
• Monitor critical pours live, ensuring deliveries take place at necessary times.
• Create and manage tickets for technical or supply planning issues.
• Make key decisions analytically while keeping the best intentions for NITROcrete and customers in mind.
• Assist internal logistics team with driver dispatching and administrative duties as needed.

Education & Experience:

• Two years post-secondary education/Associate’s degree
• At least 5 years’ experience in a customer service, supply chain or logistics role.

Computer Skills:

• Experience with MS Office Suite Software, Inventory Software, Contact Management Software, or Order Processing Software

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Some evenings and weekends required during busy season (summer)
