Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Logistics / Operations Administrator for a Blount County, TN automotive parts distributor.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 6 AM – 3:30 PM – no nights, no weekends
Pay Rate: $16.50 to $17/hour - will be dependent upon experience
Responsibilities:
- Will be using internal databases to process orders to the floor
- Booking freight through portal sights
- Communication with drivers
- Reporting volumes of freight movements, operational activities
- Support management in executing the goals set for the various departments within the facility
- Ensure effective controls are being followed in order to meet customer and company inventory
- Ensure safety performance is being improved.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills both over email correspondence and over the phone
- Must be able to follow directions and follow through on tasks given
- Must be self-driven and be comfortable with taking initiative on assigned tasks
