GovCIO is currently hiring for a Logistics Engineer to support the 39 IOS (U.S. Air Force Cyber and IO schoolhouse). This position will be located at Hurlburt Field, Florida and will be an onsite position.
Manages the day-to-day activities in the customer’s warehouse and serves as the primary point of contact for all shipping and receiving. Maintains stock levels for common use items. Coordinates and prepares DLA Disposition Services (DLADS) documentation for IT equipment turn-in. Coordinates security inspections of any equipment being received or shipped out. Continuously communicates with management, co-workers, vendors, and customers. Able to respond to short notice taskings and accomplishes Secure Storage Checklist items as required.
• Collaborate with all production departments to facilitate the production plans in order to meet customer expectations.
• Implement new or improved supply chain processes.
• Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
• Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or shipping and receiving.
• Publish material goods inventory numbers and reconcile differences.
• Optimization of all logistics steps to produce the right amount of product and deliver to end user at the right time.
• Design or implement supply chains that support environmental policies; find opportunities to reuse or recycle materials to minimize consumption of new materials, minimize waste. Create
• Weekly Status and Monthly Status Reports for upper-level management review.
Required Skills and Experience:
High School with 3 - 6 years (or commensurate experience)
Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in small and large team settings to solve complex problems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
Preferred Skills and Experience
• Two to five years of experience in or working with the military.
• Experience compiling and tracking data.
• Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
