Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations within the Pro Logistic Warehouse, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to optimize supply chain processes.
- Monitor Key functions within the warehouse to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee inventory addressing any problems such as freight damage, mis-shipped items and lost or misplaced material
- Resolve operational issues and ensure seamless communication between various stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum work experience requirements:
- Proven experience as a logistics Operations Specialist or similar role in the Electrical Distribution industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster effective collaboration.
- Proficient and using logistics software and tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Minimum education requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Other skills/experience desired:
- Strong leadership capability
- Strong relationship management skills
- Ability to grow and maintain relationships with any individual, irrespective of background and type of personality.
- Possession of good sense of humor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong creativity and critical thinking abilities
- Familiarity with logistics management software, ERP systems, and other relevant technologies.
- Strong detail-orientation and top-level self-organization
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to put in more working hours, even at odd times.
- Possess reliable problem-solving ability.
- Ability to assess and mitigate potential risks ensuring the secure and efficient movement of goods.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, with a track record of implementing process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
