Logistics Coordinator/Driver

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will work closely with our Water Fulfillment Specialist and the railroad crew to ensure the smooth operation of our water delivery services. This position demands a highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with extensive travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel Coordination: Manage the daily travel logistics of water trucks, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of water services to various locations.
• Accommodation Management: Responsible for booking hotels for the team, ensuring comfort and convenience during over-the-road assignments.
• Route Planning: Map out travel routes for optimal efficiency, considering factors such as distance, travel time, and service locations.
• Water Account Setup: Coordinate the setup of water accounts in new locations, ensuring uninterrupted water supply for our operations.
• Supply Procurement: Oversee the purchasing of necessary supplies for the team, maintaining adequate stock levels to meet operational needs.
• Rotation Schedule: This over-the-road job operates on a 6-week on, 2-week off rotation, requiring flexibility and adaptability from the successful candidate.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience in logistics coordination or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing travel logistics and supply procurement.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to map out travel routes and manage accommodation bookings efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for coordinating with team members, hotel staff, and suppliers.
• Ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and travel demands, comfortable with extensive periods of travel.
• A team player attitude, working closely with the Water Fulfillment Specialist and railroad crew to achieve common goals.
