Logistic Technician (Materials Handler)

Load and ship finished products and receive raw materials by rail or truck.

• Support the Company principles of Safety, Compliance Quality and Cost.

• Follow GMP practices throughout the process.

• Load and ship finished products and receive raw materials by rail or truck. Move products from tank to tank.

• Draw samples and deliver to Quality Department for laboratory tests

• Operate railcar mover to place cars for shipping and receiving.

• Observe OSHA and Federal Railroad Administration rules.

• Complete shipping manifests, weigh rail cars and other shipping/receiving transactions

• Responsible for the controlled and emergency equipment shutdowns of pumping equipment.

• Know the hazards of the loading and unloading systems and the safety actions

• Memorize complete piping and instrumentation diagram for the logistics operation

• Follow proper pumping procedures to change over various product codes

• Perform cleanup of assigned area.

• Support Maintenance to perform equipment Inspection, installation and repair.

• Perform Safety inspections as scheduled
