Committed to excellence in customer service and operational efficiency, we are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Logistics Clerk to join our team at the Howell, New Jersey location.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Full-Time Logistic Clerk. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and shipping processes, with specific knowledge of Omnitracs and Logistically shipping software. Familiarity with FACTS Distribution Software and Acumatica is a significant plus. The Logistics Clerk will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the shipping activities for our four locations, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Omnitracs and Logistically shipping software to set up shipments for distribution centers.
• Coordinate shipping activities for our own trucks, as well as with LTL and FTL carriers.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all outbound shipments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize and schedule shipments based on demand.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
• Work closely with carriers to negotiate rates and optimize shipping costs.
• Provide support in optimizing logistics processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any logistics-related challenges.
• Maintain a high level of communication with all relevant stakeholders.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in logistics.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in logistics or related field preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in logistics and shipping coordination.
• Knowledge of Omnitracs and Logistically shipping software.
• Familiarity with FACTS Distribution Software and Acumatica is a significant plus.
• Strong understanding of shipping processes, including experience with LTL and FTL carriers.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in shipping documentation.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Working Hours:

• Full-Time, Monday to Friday.
• Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
