Weekend call: May 25, June 14, July 12, August 9
- The assignment is to work 5 days per week & every other weekend hospital rounding in General Gastroenterology Inpatient and Outpatient services performing GI related procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy with biopsy and cautery
- Shift times: Weekdays: Monday- Thursday-7:00am to 6:00pm, Friday-7:00am-12pm. Every other Saturday and Sunday hospital rounding
- Frequency: Monday - Friday & every other weekend
- Setting: Suburban
- FTE: 1.0
- # Providers Needed: 1
- Duties: General Gastroenterology Inpatient and Outpatient Service
- Required Procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy with biopsy, cautery
- Typical Cases: Outpatient and inpatient general Gastroenterology
- Provider is supporting 2 general surgeons
- APP will help with workload
- GI physician will follow patients in the hospital until discharged
- The current provider performs scopes every morning essentially starting at 0730 alternating days between two facilities. His clinic schedule goes from 2pm to 4pm Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday. (The alternating Weds he only does his more complicated scopes at the one facility, no clinic) He has clinic from 930 am to 4 pm on Thursdays, occasionally he will add on a procedure before or after clinic on Thursday, but rarely. No clinic on Fridays, he only scopes at facility on Fridays starting at 730 or 8 usually until early afternoon.

- Patients per Day: 20 in clinic, 4 to 10 inpatient
- Support Staff: MA/LVN, Office Assistant, Practice Manager
- Reason for Coverage: GI provider on FMLA
- Board Certification – Board Certified or eligible
- State License – TX Required
- Residency Requirements/Fellowship – Completed GI Fellowship
- Other Certifications – BLS
- Malpractice – Clean
