Locum job opening Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible NP/PA Must have 1+ year post training general surgery experience o Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery APP o Clinic, Call, or Both: Both o Schedule: We’re looking to add one APP, as we have one departing, which leaves us with one APP to complete all vein harvests, and two overall One day of Orientation Monday – Friday: 7am – 5pm One clinic day per week (8am – 4:30 pm) Four Inpatient/OR days per week Plus Call: APP’s take first call (ICU, ED, Outpatient) Weeknight/Weekend Call divided amongst three APP’s Vein Call divided amongst two APP’s (including this locum) o Volume: OR Cases: On average 3- 8 cases per week CVICU: 10 bed unit o Case Types: Saphenous and radial vein harvesting (Utilize Getinge EVH) o Clinical support: One CVS Surgeon (plus three locums), Two APPs o EMR and Dictation Tools: EPIC/Dragon o Required experience, training, and certifications: BLS, ACLS Will not consider new grads o Case Logs: 50 Cases within the past 12 months Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
