Job description
Locums – Kansas City, Missouri, Emergency Medicine OpeningClinical Role:- Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees!
- ASAP
- Duration: 3 Months
- Shift: 6a-4p, 10a-8p, 3p-1a, 8p-6a
- No Call
- All standard ER procedures
- Support Staff: Everything except PEDS
- Avg. Patient Census: 106
- Most Common Cases: Trauma (penetrating), Large range of common "sick patients", lots of procedures, lots of transfers accepted from other hospitals
- Annual ER admissions: 34%
- Locum need is for equivalent of 2 FTE's
- Locum providers must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends
- Preference is for locum providers to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's
- Main hospital campus may consider less than 12hr shifts, affiliated FSED's require 12hr shifts
- Must be BC in ABEM or AOBEM
- Level I Trauma Center
- ACLS, PALS, ATLS (ok as long as taken ATLS one time)
