Locums General Surgery/Vascular Pa Needed Near Hampton Roads!

Location: Chesapeake VA area-Small town charm, boutiques, restaurants, close to beaches and more
Opportunity: Looking for General Surgery APP coverage, with a preference of Vascular experience
October 2023 - June 2024
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30 pm

1. Practice Setting: Inpatient /clinic/office/rounding with MD
2. Schedule: M-F, 8:00am -4:30pm
3. Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15-18
4. Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 3
5. Documentation System/EMR: Epic
6. Patient Age Demographic: adult/geriatric
7. Number of General Surgeons in Practice: 7
8. MD will be supervising the mid levels

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Some line experience, first assist and surgical in the OR experience is a plus
2. Suture Removal
3. Order Tests
4. Assist in Surgery
5. Write Prescriptions
6. Coordination of Care
7. AANP/NCCPA Board Certified - REQUIRED
8. Active VA License - REQUIRED
9. ACLS/BLS Certified - REQUIRED
10. COVID Vaccine- REQUIRED
