Locums Gastroenterology Hospitalist Need In New Jersey

Schedule

• Day shifts with no call
• Ideal coverage for 7am-7pm
• Any day or the week/weekend

Clinical Details

• Inpatient
• 8 - 10 Patients a day
• 3 - 4 Procedures on average per day
• 8-20 Consults and follow ups (it varies)
• Anesthesiologist on site 24/7
• Currently 2 GI physicians on staff
• No one is on call after 7pm, barely have anything emergent
  • 1-2 monthly, if emergent then transferred to sister hospital
• Rounding on patients with GI consults and follow ups
• Hospitalists admit all GI patients and keep on hospitalist service

Requirements

• EUS not required
• ERCP - preferred
• Board Certified
• Active NJ license
  • Will accept IMLC
• NJ CDS registration
• DEA with a NJ address

Support Staff

• Full Endoscopy suite with full staffing
• Mid level providers available for surgical and ortho cases, but not for GI
  • low acuity hospital without a high census, so it does not justify it
