Locum tenens: Anesthesiology Locum in Southern WA

A facility in Southern Washington with an opening for an Anesthesiologist to assist their team.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 10 or 12-hour shifts
• 1 backup beeper call shift per week
• 10 ORs, 2 procedure rooms, and OB
• 12 MDs & 10 CRNAs
• Monthly Volume: 750 surgical cases, 300 deliveries
• Case mix: Bread & butter, total joint, GI, general surgery, robotics, ENT, OB & some peds
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Washington Anesthesiologist state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as an Anesthesiologist
• One year of Epic experience
• Board Certified

• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.

Requirements:

• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
