DHMF - St. Elizabeth Community Hospital is looking for OBGYN Call Coverage 5 days per month beginning in March, ongoing.
BID DUE DATE: Jan 22 @ 3p EST!
***MSO requires the application to be completed within 3 days of being confirmed despite the start date!!***
Locum tenens, courtesy, or per diem status does not meet the "Active" staff requirement for temp privileges at our hospital. If the vendor cannot confirm this status with no restriction (i.e., no proctoring/monitoring requirement) the provider will not be accepted!!!!!
Details:
- End of Feb/beginning of March start
- 5 days per month ongoing.
- 24 hour call for OB and Gyn presentations to the ED for a 5 day stretch. No clinic or office patients.
- Physicians do not need to remain in house but must be within 20-minute response time.
- Setting: Inpatient/outpatient
- Duties: Full scope OB/GYN
- FTE: 1.0
- Required Procedures: Deliveries (C-section/Vaginal), Gynecological Surgeries
- EMR: Cerner
- Support Staff: Dedicated MA, practice manager.
- Reason for coverage: Permanent provider reducing coverage.

Credentialing information:
- Timeframe: 60 days
Travel Preferences:
- Preferred Lodging: Preferred hotels
- Air Travel: Local, preferred but not required
- Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions, for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation. Please also indicate the city where provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider submission.
- Malpractice rates - Must be included in the rates
- Orientation (half the hourly rate, kicks in after 8 hours) - "Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours"
- 24 hour call - Must include 4 hours gratis - "per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"
- Call back - Must match hourly rate - "per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms"
- Holiday rates - All holiday rate will be 1.5x the regular rate per CSH guidelines.

- Board Certified OB/GYN - REQUIRED
- Active CA license - REQUIRED
- IM/FP, OBGYN Residency/Fellowship - REQUIRED
- Active BLS, DEA, NRP/NALS - REQUIRED - MUST BE WILLING TO OBTAIN DURING CREDENTIALING
- Must state availability (# of shifts per month) at name clear - REQUIRED
- Must be on Active Staff at a TJC-accredited facility with no privilege restrictions - REQUIRED TO NOTE.
- Clean Malpractice/background - REQUIRED
- Local, no flights - HIGHLY PREFERRED - NOT A REQUIREMENT
- Disclose if provider has worked at any other CHI/Dignity facility - REQUIRED
- COVID VACCINATION - REQUIRED
