Immediate Opening: Locum Physician in Internal Medicine

Location:Internal Medicine Clinic

Schedule:

• Hours: Weekdays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
• Frequency: Monday to Friday, full-time preferred but open to part-time applicants (no call requirements)

Start Date: As soon as credentialed Duration: 6 months to 1 year

Scope of Practice:

• Specialty Required:Internal Medicine; candidates with a strong Family Practice background may also be considered
• Patient Population: Average age of 70, with conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, and CHF
• Patients per Day: 12-18, depending on the complexity of cases

EMR System: Cerner

Support Staff:

• Medical Assistants (MA's)
• Medical Office Representatives (MOR's)
• An Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in clinic
• An RN assigned to the clinic

Credentialing:

• Timeframe: 2-3 months
