Salary: $350 - $450 per hour
Hospital based practice in Iowa looking for ongoing medical oncology physician support . Flexible schedule options $$$
1.Ideal start date ASAP
2.End Date or minimum commitment length a candidate would need to give ~6 months with option to extend
3.Weekly clinic schedule flexible- ideally 4 days/week on a weekly basis, weekday/night and weekend call as prn
4.Patients per day expectation 12-15
5.Call schedule and requirements/expectations split evenly with other MDs for 24/7 coverage. Please note, call workload is minimal at this facility (low volume of calls)
6.Number of other same specialty physicians they will work with currently, 3 other MDs with 3 APPs
7.Support staff for the locum physician and/or specialty 2 nursing support staff (combination of RNs/CMAs, designated scheduling staff, authorization team, financial counselor, social worker, dietitian on-site
8.EMR system Mosaiq and Cerner (Power Chart)
9.Will you consider candidates who need to apply for a IA license? Prefer IA licensed but will consider all options
10.Are hospital privileges required and at how many locations? Yes, required
11.How long does it take to get hospital privileges? ~ 4 weeks
12.Do they have temp/expedited privileging? Can they start while privileges are in process? No
13.Will you consider board eligible/non boarded candidates who did specialty training and either let boards lapse or never took them? Need board certified
14.Will you consider candidates offering a part time weekly clinic schedule, or a few weeks per month, ongoing? yes
15.Would you consider telehealth candidates for clinic/call/both? Yes- open to discuss what this may look like.
