Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LocumChemotherapy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team near Hugo, Illinois. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing passionate and specialized care to patients undergoing chemotherapy treatments.
Responsibilities:

1. Administer chemotherapy treatments to patients in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
2. Monitor and assess patient responses to chemotherapy, managing and documenting side effects and plications.
3. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
4. Educate patients and their families on the chemotherapy process, potential side effects, and self-care measures.
5. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outes.

Qualifications:

1. Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
2. Certification in Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Administration through ONS/ONCC or equivalent.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on chemotherapy administration.
4. BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
5. Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
