Summary:
The Locksmith Technician provides on-site maintenance and repair services to customers within an assigned territory. In this role, you will perform intermediate-level maintenance on assigned products, such as safes, locks, under-counter teller equipment, safe deposit boxes, and vaults.
Responsibilities:
• Install new locks on safes and ATMs and replace lock batteries.
• Clear jams in After Hours Depositories
• Install lock and door hardware to include mechanical and electronic door locks, door closures, and emergency exit devices.
• Use various hand and power tools; occasionally using ladders
Customer Service is a key part of this role. Our technicians must be able to maintain positive interaction with the customer during service calls, customer meetings, and while conducting customer training. In addition, you will prioritize calls and act decisively on behalf of the customer from call origination to call closure.

Physical & Technical Requirements:
This position is heavy on mechanical skills and organization skills to set up and keep appointments. This is a physical job, so you must have the ability to do the following:
• Intermediate PC skills using Microsoft Office tools and the ability to navigate through smartphone applications.
• A valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record within company-required standards.
• Travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities, including during inclement weather is essential.
• Ability to successfully pass background and drug testing
• Reliable transportation during the first 90 days of the apprentice program
In the Field:
Every day brings something different, so Field Techs should be comfortable in a lot of different settings, for example:
• Outside in all weather conditions, possibly for extended periods.
• Must function in a team environment, demonstrating the ability to receive direction from and provide assistance to other team members
• Maintain parts inventories and anticipate parts required to meet or exceed goals. Assist in inventory management for the service team
• Consistent and punctual attendance. The ability to work overtime, weekends, second shifts or participate in an on-call rotation when scheduled
• Out-of-the-box thinkers. You must be able to work with little supervision and can apply common sense, experience, and theory to problem-solving and decision-making.
