IVS Security Inc. is a locally and owned locksmith company. We work all over the metro Atlanta area to service our customers at their location. We provide mostly automotive locksmith services by making car keys to any type of vehicle including exotics!
Locksmith Technician Job Duties
- Make car keys on site for customers using equipment and materials provided by the company.
- Install, repair, modify, and open a variety of locking mechanisms.
- Open door locks mostly in vehicles and houses.
- Make new or duplicate keys, using key cutting machine, perform re-keying services.
- Resolve issues one the job
- Follow instructions, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to perform problem solving with attention to detail
- Safely operate hand tools and power-hand tools.
- Attend training as scheduled and/or required.
Locksmith Technician Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.
- Locksmith Certification - preferred. ** Higher compensation for experienced candidates
- Knowledge of using tools and general ability to learn quickly on the job.
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have a valid state driver’s license with no major infractions.
- Must own reliable vehicle for work. ** Company vehicle will be provided after probationary period with a good driving record.
Locksmith Technician Preferred Requirements
- A valid driver’s license
- Experience working as a locksmith or a locksmith certificate.
- Reliable vehicle ** company vehicle will be provided after probationary period and with a good driving record.

We work with many dealerships in Atlanta and we pride ourselves in being professional, prompt and reliable. Our work is dynamic and no day looks the same. We service customers at their locations and love helping people get back to their lives after being stuck with a key or locked out.
