Adecco is now hiring a Lockbox/Remittance Clerkto work at a financial institution in the Atwater Village (LA) area. This is a Temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate. The pay rate is $20/hr to work 5 days a week, 1st or 2nd shifts including weekends.

Job Title: LockBox/Remittance Clerk

Location:   Atwater Village, Los Angeles, 90065

Pay Rate: $20/hr.

Shifts: 6 am - 2:30 pm, must be able to work weekends

Length of assignment: 6 months

Responsibilities:

·         Operating Imaging/Extraction Equipment (iTRAN, IBML, OPEX 7200, OPEX 150).

·         Prepare batches of work by extracting checks and remittances from envelopes.

·         Input data into the system while following standard operating procedures and customer-specific instructions for processing.

·         Negotiate checks through customer-specific instructions for processing.

·         Re-associating check images to corresponding material while validating the quality of images.

·         Balancing/reconciling electronic and paper documentation.

·         Analyzing information to determine the accuracy and completeness of work.

Shift:

·         6 am - 2:30 pm, must be available for weekends/day offs will be weekdays.

Requirements:

·         One year of previous similar experience.

·         Have a High School diploma or equivalent.

·         Have strong 10 key skills (alphanumeric).

·         Have strong accuracy with strong attention to detail and focus on quality.

·         Previous experience working in fast-paced, goal-oriented environments.
