Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and community-oriented Local Sponsorship Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a talent for building relationships within various local marketplaces throughout the U.S., a passion for community involvement, and the ability to connect local businesses with sponsorship opportunities. This role involves identifying potential sponsors, crafting tailored proposals, and fostering strong local partnerships in the marketplaces where LIFE SURGE will take place.
Essential Duties
Identify and engage potential local sponsors within the community, considering their alignment with our mission and values.
Develop and execute sales strategies to secure Local Sponsorship agreements and meet revenue targets.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders within the various LIFE SURGE marketplaces.
Create compelling and customized sponsorship proposals and presentations that address the unique needs and objectives of local sponsors.
Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop creative sponsorship packages.
Lead negotiations with local sponsors to establish mutually beneficial agreements.
Prepare and finalize sponsorship contracts, ensuring compliance with all terms and commitments.
Monitor and track sponsorship revenue, providing regular reports to Sponsorship Director.
Work closely with event and marketing teams to seamlessly integrate sponsorships into local events, promotions, and campaigns.
Oversee the successful execution of sponsorship commitments.
Stay informed about local business trends, community events, and potential partnership opportunities.
Provide insights and recommendations based on local market research.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Proven experience in sales, sponsorship, or community engagement roles.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently.
Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets.
Creative thinker with the ability to tailor sponsorship packages to local sponsor needs.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
