As a Brand Ambassador/Local Marketing Associate at British Swim School, you will play a pivotal role in driving our Local Marketing initiatives, building community partnerships, and enhancing our presence within the target market.
Your responsibilities will include:
Local Event Planning:
- Plan and coordinate local events, such as swim clinics, open houses, and community outreach programs, to attract new customers and engage with the community.
- Collaborate with local businesses, community organizations, and sponsors to enhance event visibility and participation.
Mom/Parent Groups Partnerships:
- Establish partnerships with local mom and parent groups, playgroups, and parenting organizations to promote our swim school services.
- Organize special events, workshops, or discounts tailored to these groups to encourage enrollment and build long-term relationships.
School District Partnerships:
- Forge strategic partnerships with school districts, PTAs, and educators to offer swimming lessons as part of school programs or extracurricular activities.
- Coordinate with school administrators to facilitate onsite presentations, registration drives, and promotional activities.
Marketing Communications:
- Create compelling marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, newsletters, and email campaigns, to communicate key messages and promotions to the local community.
Brand Ambassador
- Serve as the primary brand ambassador for British Swim School within the local community.
- Represent the brand at community events, networking functions, and industry gatherings.
- Actively engage with customers, community members, and stakeholders to promote the brand values and mission.
- Seek opportunities to enhance brand visibility and recognition through partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborative initiatives.
Digital Marketing:
- Manage social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, engagement, and performance tracking.
- Monitor online reviews and manage online reputation to ensure positive customer sentiment.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a local or community-focused role.
- Proven track record of executing successful digital marketing campaigns and managing social media platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including parents, community leaders, and school administrators.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Passion for water safety, swimming, and community engagement.
