Local Delivery Driver-Class C (Ccs)

Santa Monica is looking for Local Delivery Drivers (Class C) to deliver inSan Luis Obispo County for $17.00/hr!

The right driver will have the ability to stay calm under pressure, solve problems at the moment, have excellent communication skills, and be punctual and reliable.

We are looking for Delivery drivers for immediate hire who can start right away.Drivermust want to be part of a team and be interested in the success of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The driver will operate a Class C - Bobtail.
• The delivery driver will have a pre-assigned route and endure timely delivery of our products to our customers, in a professional and customer service-oriented manner.
• The delivery driver will perform routine daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is road safe and reports any mechanical defects to the Lead Driver/Supervisor.
• The driver will ensure that the manifests are completed and accurate.
• The driver will load the truck with daily merchandise to be delivered as well as unload merchandise for the customer.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Aids in resolving customer issues.
• Ensures timely delivery of the product to our customers, dealing with multiple stops with deadlines to deliver, handling our product with care.
• Deliver to multiple locations and handle our equipment to safely deliver orders and protect pedestrians.
• Food delivery experience is preferred, but not required.
• Training provided.
• Equipment and new uniforms are provided.
• Must submit a copy of your most recent DMV report (3 years) to be considered
• Class C Driver, delivery driver, Bobtail delivery driver, Route Driver

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Good customer service skills
• Strong organization skills & communication skills
• Work cooperatively with others
• Valid Driver's License
• Clean DMV Record
• Must have 2 years of experience delivery driving/ Bobtail truck 26' footer or shorter
